St. Andrew's Lutheran Church

Our Mission
St. Andrew’s is called to be God’s hands and feet in the world by sharing love in tangible and intangible ways. We are currently focusing on serving immigrants and refugees. We support these vital communities through prayer, intentional learning about immigrant and refugee experiences, supporting the work of local organizations, joining advocacy efforts, collecting goods, and providing gathering space.

St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church welcomes, respects, includes, and is led by people of all ages, abilities, ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions in God’s beloved community. We commit to the work of Christ-centered justice including racial equity, indigenous recognition, interreligious cooperation, environmental sustainability, and advocacy for our vulnerable neighbors in greater Mar Vista and the city of Los Angeles. God’s love is our source and destination in every aspect of ministry.

In October 2025, our campus was violated by ICE and law enforcement without our knowledge or permission. Please read our statement and commitment to a safe campus here.
